World Card Day at Unruly Paperarts

Hi all, guess what!!!! I am now the proud *blushes* design columnist over at Unruly Paperarts which is an online magazine blog which does amazing themes each month from awesome columnists.  I shall be sorting out my badge and links to each designer over the weekend.  So much has happened this week, not sure I can tell you yet lol but wow my head is totally spinning in a good way :-)
So today is World Card Day, so pop on over to Unruly Paperarts and have a peep what we have all been doing :-) I decided to do an Autumn card, all details of what I used are at the bottom of the page :-)
Also I need to apologise, this was due yesterday, but my computer kept glitching which I thought was blogger, but finally yesterday evening after wanting to chuck my computer out the window, I told my OH who said to do a virus check and yep I had a Trojan Horse.  I am truly sorry I missed out on my first post for Unruly Paperarts.

I would like to enter the following challenges -
Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog - Colours of Autumn
Simon Says Monday Challenge - Say it with Stamps - I love the Autumn saying on my card and
use if for most of my Autumn projects :-)
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Blog - Colours of Fall
Papercraft Star Challenge Blog  - Photo

I have had a bit of a play in Serif to add a watermark and
make it slightly more bright, all the other photos are originals.
The watermark was designed by Tracy (friend on facebook)

Stamping multi medium after covering the card with distress antique linen
hence why it's not completely white.  Then blended rest of colours over the card
and flicked with water :-)
The card with the leaf on had crushed olive and rusty hinge blended
on it then flicked with water, you can tell it's one
of my favorite techniques :-)

The leaf really was a play session, I covered the mat with fired brick and
seedless preserves distress inkpads, spritz with water and added
cosmic shimmer powder, then dipped my card in.
The cosmic shimmer golden pear didn't seem to show up much
so I mixed in some water and started flicking at it.
Then I stamped and gold embossed :-)

I used flitter glu by Indigo Blu and covered the sides of the
card and then added Crafty Notions variegated red gilding flakes which are yummy :-)

Right I better be off, it's so nice to be able to blog today, yesterday evening I was so upset that I had a nasty virus on my computer, talk about me having a ear virus thingy then the computer having one, seriously, I am truly being tested at the moment lol.  Thank you all for being so patient with me.  I shall be back tomorrow, I still have a few projects to show you plus some exciting news!!!! :-)
Happy Crafting
Lots of hugs
Kezzy xxxxx

Hi Kezzy! Wow, but this is just gorgeous. Your playing certainly turned out to have great results - very much your style, with a real Kezzy colour palette and lots of bold and beautiful design features! Love, love, love it! Autumn leaves are one of my favourite things - I sound like Maria from the 'Sound of Music', though sadly I don't resemble Julie Andrews! I really like the watermark too - so professional! Aren't all viruses a pain? Have a lovely weekend! I have an exciting secret to tell you too at some point! Julie Ann xx

Kezzy...your autumnal card is absolutely stunning. I so love the blended colors of your background. They scream "AUTUMN!" The gold embossing and torn, distressed edges of your card really are such a beautiful compliment to your background colors. I also love the way you've used Tim's blueprint leaf on this. So very pretty! Thanks for sharing your card with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. <3 Candy
