5 Green Bottles Standing on a Wall!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, at last I have managed to get inky, I'm starting to feel like crafting again and it's great lol.  Last night I decided to swoosh some distress stains around on a tag, now I haven't used my stains before so this was rather new lol.  After some distress stains, distress ink and some spray I had finally got a background I liked lol.

My background from playing, I used distress stains

straight on the tag, then I added stains to my craft mat and

swooshed the tag through them, then I re put more stains on

the mat and added picket fence.  Then I edges with distress inkpads,

then sprayed with radiant rain for a hint of sparkle.

 I'm really pleased with the final tag, I which the tissue paper that I stamped

the main flowers and bottles on were lost in the tag more, normally they

do but I guess I did something differently lol.  I embossed the tag in places with

swirls, then I added embossing powder on top after inking with distress inkpad.

I randomly stamped flowers, dots and chevrons everywhere.

I stamped the bottles on tissue paper with archival jet black then modpodged

them on the tag, when I decided what flowers I wanted I also stamped them

on tissue paper but on the back coloured with promarkers.  I then decided I wanted

the bottles coloured to be green so I coloured on top with a promarker, but

it didn't show very much so I used my sharpie pens which I forgot I had.

The white is with my new sharpie paint marker, so loving this lol

I stuck book paper down before adding bottles but then I didn't like the

whiteness, so I went over with a sharpie yellow followed by modpodge,

but that was too bright so I smudged orange sharpie marker with a tissue.

The markers spread because of the modpodge already down so you get

a few seconds to blend it in :-)

Right I'm off to watch some telly and do a bit of crochet, ooooo let me show you my first crochet flower, I have been teaching myself crochet over the last few weeks :-)

Right I'm definitely off now, I shall be catching up with everyone over the next few days, I finally can't wait to comment and catch up which is a change from not wanting to talk or do anything due to stress lol.

Slowly returning :-)

Hi all, as you may have noticed I have not been around much, I'm afraid life got in the way and I had to step back from everything for a few weeks to sort things out.  Of course a lot of this was also due to when you have stress or feeling low the old mojo takes this as holiday time and I'm pretty sure he has loved being away but I'm finally grabbing him back :-)  Each of us also have friends and family that inspire us, when all is fine art seems to flow, but at times, when that flow seems to have been broken due to problems, arguments, illness etc with our loved ones it can be hard to grasp back that inspiration and slowly I feel like mine is returning :-)

So after getting the sentiment bits out of the way lol it's time to show you a card I have done for the Kenny K Challenge which is Lace and Pearls and is about to finish lol.  I love colouring during these times of stress and my favorite has to be Kenny K images, I have lots coloured but most don't end up as cards lol but I have started entering their challenge each week and I was determined not to miss it :-)

Live the Life you Imagined .........................

Hi all, I was so late with my DT piece for Anything Goes Challenge Blog, the challenge is Make it Manly and there is still a week left of the challenge :-)  I decided to have a go at a canvas and I really enjoyed myself, I managed to make it on time, but had a few family/friend incidents that left me being unable to blog for a week, so now I'm trying to load them up lol.

I would like to enter my canvas into the Challenge over at Frilly and Funky which is Layer it on and share a word, this is initially what made me want to do a canvas as I really was inspired by all the DT works over there :-)

I so love Fresco paints they work so well and even

the puff paint was mixed with fresco paint :-)

Funky, Bright, Fabulous .................

Hi all, it's time for a new challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and this fortnight to celebrate our new Design Team it's Anything Goes.  Lisa now sells lots of different types of craft so we now are encouraging crafter's to try, we also have a challenge which you can enter as long as it's not paper, this you will find on the sidebar of the challenge blog.

So I decided this week to make a crochet ring bracelet and matching card, I am in the middle of teaching myself to crochet and found how to make this circles and knew exactly that I wanted to make a piece of jewellery, only problem is I didn't have any circles, so I ended up making the rings with these garden circles I bought ages ago, it's to make sure flowers stay together, I show what I mean on the bracelet picture :-)

The Craft Barn - Alpha Challenge H

Hi all, over at The Craft Barn the alpha challenge this week is the Letter H.  I did this page the other day while feeling low and I really wanted to do the old type of house that I used to draw as a kid, I know it looks pretty awful but I enjoyed doing it.  I put question marks next to the homeless on the dictionary page as we won't know until December 2014 if a new train line will take our home away :-(

I really love this English/French dictionary, the pages are so tough

so don't need gesso or pages sticking together and the dylusion

sprays look awesome on them.  Guess it was a bargain for £2.50

from the charity shop, it's also so thick that I should get a few

years out of my first journal :-)

Layering it Up at Kenny K

Hi all, I'm just nipping on to enter my card into the Kenny K challenge which is Layering it up.  I'm quite late this week lol, but I so wanted to enter, I really love their images, can you imagine working or being on a design team with them, it would be bliss not work lol lol.

I decided to grab a patterned paper pad and some kraft card and go for it, and see what I could layer up from the papers, it was really relaxing and I am quite pleased with the end result :-)

Right I better be off or the challenge will be finished!!!  New one tomorrow so looking forward to that.  All the details are below of what I used :-)

Hi all, it's just about still Wednesday so I have time to quickly join in with the famous woyww where crafter's share their wonderful creative desks.  I didn't get to visit much last week, sorry, I really don't know where the week went.  A close friend at work who works the office side while I work from home lost her husband so I have been really busy working and out a lot, her family has been with her and of course were work buddies but I really feel like I wish I could help in some way, but I know she knows I'm here if she needs me. Right to my desk ..................................

My dump desk has been my craft desk this evening,

I really wanted something to relax with so I started a card

that I already had a picture coloured for.  I colour when I end

up on the sofa with pain and because I normally like

to get inky I sometimes forget to make the cards up lol.

I'm working in this small space as my daughter has art course work to catch

up on, I really am lucky that normally I can spread out as I 

really wouldn't be able to get inky here lol (still too much dumped on there!!!)

Hmmmmmmmmm, daughter got side tracked and this was taken

a few moments ago, she hasn't been in here all evening so

I could have spreaded out lol.  Here is my new heat tool, hopefully

this one will work as we had to send the other back.

I have finished my card, but no sneaky peak as it will be posted

in the morning/evening/midnight eek one of those anyway lol lol

Right I'm off to visit some desks for half hour as I really want to catch up this with with everyone, I miss looking :-)  Oh yes, just to mention I haven't forgot the candy for my two year anniversary, I'm just delaying slightly as I really want to reach a 100 followers as then it will be double celebration.  And don't worry you don't have to be a follower as I would like any body following me wanting to follow me if you get what I mean, think I need to go to bed soon lol, my English is awful!!!!
