A Visit From Santa

Good evening, I hope your all well.  I really love this season, I know it's busy and chaotic but I on the other hand it's full of hope, lots of sparkle and twinkles.  Today I have a small canvas for you that I did as a tutorial over on Unruly Paperarts and I am very sad to say it will be my last due to it finishing.  It's weird as this was my only DT for mixed media :-(.  I give the full tutorial plus a close look at what I used for his face :-).  For all products used just look at the bottom of the page :-).

Paperartsy - Masterboards

Hi ya, wow didn't December arrive quickly lol.  I thought I had better post my first Christmas Card before January comes :-).  Today I am playing along with Paperartsy and their challenge is Masterboards which I have really become to love.  I have so many different ways and most of this years cards are done this way, totally in my style, lots of painty mess :-).  Each day this week I shall be posting lots of Christmas creations, plus today I have a tutorial showing how I made my masterboard.  All the products I used are at the bottom of the post :-).

 I used the masterboard panel and added some script stamping with very light

silver, some dots and silver embossing powder.

I stamped the sentiment in black, then added some bubble wrap stamping.

I also embossed a postmark.  The chipboard bauble was covered with the tissue

and then a script embossed with silver.  The Noel was cut out and added

with some silver string.  Some scribble lines completed the card.

Tissue for texture

The tissue left over from underneath the patterned tissue.

I used sprays to give some shine.  Underneath is a piece of mixed media card

so I can make another masterboard for more cards.

I literally stuck my fingers in the paint and spread with my hand.

Next brayer snowflake

Used bubble wrap

then some fruit covering

not sure where I got this from but it makes lovely little diamonds.

Next I used hologram embossing powder

you can see here how subtle it is.

This is the start of the masterboard from the spraying the tissue.

Did another one in green.  Really love the pattern the tissue makes.

Funky Flowers Journal Page

Good morning, I know it's been over a week since I blogged.  Mum was rushed into hospital and when she came out Aunt Tensy who I look after was rushed in. Mum is out now doing well and Aunt Tensy at 97 is doing fine and hopefully will be out next week.  So Today I am here with the other side of the Journal page I showed you HERE, the page that had mop up on it.  As you can see from the pictures it started rather messy, it then went through some more messy before ending up complimenting the journal page next to it :-).
