Challenge - Flowers and a big thank you

Hi to all, I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has left a comment and wished me well for yesterday, in the end they decided to do something different which was not pleasant but hopefully it will start helping, problem is I'm going to be rough before I get better.  But hay ho I have time off work and I'm still able to blog.  I haven't done any crafting as I have done nothing but sleep since but I did this card a few days ago so I would like to enter into the Delightful Challenges - Flowers I hope thats ok as I haven't done it today!!!

This is a pink petticoat image and the flowers were just built up by flowers by Joanna Sheen and Hot off the Press, jigsaw piece covered with alcohol inks and wire and papers mmmmmmmm scraps from box so I can't quite remember!!!! lol.  Thank you again to everyone it was so nice to see all the comments when I went on my internet tablet yesterday evening.  Hope you all have had a good couple of days. xxx

WOYWW 95

Hi to all the woyww's, if your wondering what I'm going about nip over to Julia's blog and see some fab crafty desks.  Now normally I am really late on a Wednesday, but I'm afraid I am off to have a lumbar epidural steriod injection in my back, I'm so nervous.  I know its cheating but I took my pic last night just before I went to bed.  I had decided not to start another card before going in today so last night instead of thinking I will clear up so its all nice and tidy......... NOPE I decided to put all my ribbon in the new jars I bought on Sunday and I still haven't finished yet so when I next come into my craft room I will see the following ...............

Hope you all have a wonderful WOYWW day, my beloved bought me a new tablet (equivilant to an IPad but cheaper!!!) so I can spend plenty of time resting on sofa while blogging (I think he probably knew that I wouldn't stay resting if I didn't have something to do lol).

Flower Card

Hi to all, what was blogger up to on Sunday, I couldn't get yesterdays picture up and in the end gave up, I did find out on google that there were loads of people with this problem that day and looks like blogger straightened everything out as pics are now showing up again hurray!!!  Ok so the card today is for 2sisters challenge blog - make your own embellishment and 365 Cards - Expression. 

I used My Minds Eye paper, part of flower from the accessory sheet, ribbons, fibres, pins, button, brad and pink card, the back of flower is a sizzix die and of course the swirl is TH die, the expression is truly amazing.  And of course I have been on my sewing machine again (don't worry I will get bored of it soon lol).  365 cards expression I have used the amazing card as my daughter says it quite often and for 2 sisters I made both my flower embellishments little one at top is gathered ribbon and brad and the bottom one is fibres, die cut flower, flower for accessory sheet, another die cut and then a button - hope that classes as a made embellishement.

In the bin!!!!

Hi to all, hope your weekend has been good with lots of creativity.  Do you ever have those days where it doesn't matter how hard you try, you can never cut straight, ink straight or generally do anything on a card that looks right?  Well I have had one of those days, I did some ribbon embroidery last night in front of the TV and I really wanted to put it on a card for a challenge - which was celebrate.  It just wasn't happening and in the end its gone into the bin Doh!!!! but first I took a pic.

Believe it or not this card started being a 8by8inch square, I spend so much time trimming as it wasn't right that it ended up being more like a thick DL!!!!  I used my sewing machine for the first time on a card which I was impressed about and I did enjoy/like my ribbon embroidery but everything else went down hill, I can't even put it in for the challenge as I use yellow rub ons above and below the string saying celebrate spring, but I'm afraid you can't see it, its not even my picture taking as I could hardly see it when I had done.  So after taking this pic I decided to stamp over it and well it ended up a complete mess so hence - I have fed the bin.
Anyway all I can say is I enjoyed doing it and its even better to be able to share my diseaster with all of you, it sort of makes the whole thing funny LOL.  So how about sharing your diseasters I would love to hear that I'm not the only one who has these days.

Challenges - Mums

Hi to all of you crafters out there, are you enjoying your weekend?  Today I am entering this mothers day card into two challenges - Lets Create Challenge (mums the word) and Papertake Weekly - (It's a mum thing).  I have took two pics of this card inside and out. 

The front is using hot off the press papers, flower soft vase and blue flower soft and flower soft leaves at the back from the window box stamp set.

The papers inside again are hot off the press, some flower gems and I die cut letters from glitter card.

Wedding Fascinator!!!

Hi to you all, I'd like to say a big thank you to all my new followers, its really exciting having you with me to share this blogging journey (now that sound corny lol) and also a big thank you to all who comment.  I'm slowly learning about blogger and I'm slowly making changes to add new things on my blog, one thing I learned today is I finally have turned off my vertification, only noticed the tabs above the settings to allow me to do this (Doh), so hopefully it will make the comment procedure a little bit easier and quicker.  Today I'd like to share with you a wedding fascinator I have done for my friend, at first I hadn't got a clue what a fascinator was and went searching on the Oh so faithful internet that I'm not sure I could do without now!!! lol, and found out it was a hair piece.  I absolutely love playing with ribbons, and use quite a bit on embroidery and jewellery making so I decided to give it ago.

I used ribbon, feathers, pink wire and beads and I attached everything to the slide with thin wire.  Sorry about the photo I only had a few days to do it and just got it finished in time so did a quick photo lol, my family and mates think these things can just be made within a day like 'Voila' and its done lol lol lol!!!!.

WOYWW 94

Hi to all your woyww's.  I'm afraid I'm a bit late today so I shall make it quick.  I have loads to tell you all but I've not been able to blog as we have been messing around with our network at home and lost the internet for a bit, so I have enough photos to blog for the next week LOL.  I'm back down to just two desks this week lol, on my first desk is my sewing machine which I still need the instruction booklet to work out how to thread, and with my sons help (only 11) we got it threaded up and at last I sewed on paper hurray, i've spent so much time looking on you tube and blogs to see if I needed new needles etc and today I thought, thats it I'm just going to do it and it worked.  I think all my cards will now have sewing on LOL LOL LOL

The above picture shows my second desk, I'm entering a challenge and want to use my stampin up stamps, which come unmounted but provide you with the wooden blocks to put them on but I can't decided if to leave them off the wooden blocks or put them on, has anyone tried using them off the wooden block? any ideas!!!!!
