WOYWW 122

Hi to all, this week I shall be quick as I am off to have more steroids and a different procedure on my back so I shall be laid up for a few days, benefits of this will be that I get to relax on sofa and see all those wonderful desks over at Julia's blog on my ipad equivalent thingy, which is good as I didn't get to visit alot this week as I have been working alot so I can have peace for a week. (thought I better put a full stop in somewhere so you can breathe lol).  This is my desk as of yesterday evening the before and the after, thought I'd I better have a clean up.  I'm hoping to be back to crafting in a few days, but if it was up to my partner he will have tied me to the sofa until the amount of time the hospital says to rest lol.

Before picks
I managed to finish a card which you could guess by the colours were mustard, red and black, I shall show the card when I take a pic and the other is yet another dumping ground lol.
After pics

Ooooooo I'm so proud all nice and clean to mess up again in a few days, it actually feels rather refreshing.

Hope you all have a fab crafty week.  Thanks for sharing. Kezzy xxx

Sorry but I am with your DH - you should rest as long as they tell you to do so. It will pay off in the end. What's the use of abusing the resting period it could mean more time laid up in the end. Good luck with the steroids.

Cor blimey I've taken to doing most of my crafting on the nice wipe-able oil tablecloth as my cutting mats are smeared with all sorts of gunge. I have this clearing up method of stuffing things in a collapsable box so we can eat dinner (table of indeterminate purpose you see) I do have a crafting area upstairs but my 3 year old would never let me be up there long enough to do anything so the craft space upstairs is really just the main storage area!

It's Friday , I'm late! I hope you're comfortable and the procedure is already proving worthwhile. Your desk looks like porn for the obsessively tidy!!

I didn't make it to WOYWW last week because I was out of town. However, I stopped by to see you and to give you the news. Right now, though, I'm more interested in the treatment you got for your back. I hope it's working and the time away from the computer is restful. Since I'm a neat freak, I really like the "after" shots.

Your desk is not the only reason I stopped by, though. While I was gone last week, I had my mail held at the PO. So you won't GUESS what arrived from England! YES! Your lovely teeny-tiny beautiful charms that I had nearly given up on. I was thrilled. Then I found that one had lost his head. Not to fear, I've had rocking horses lose body parts before, and IF I can find the part, which was easy, since they were encased in the plastic, I can often put them back together.

I can't e-mail you a proper thank you, because my e-mail is not working and hasn't for over a week. However, I wanted you to know that I got your package, and I thank you beyond belief. It was thoughtful of you to think of me this way, and how excited both of us were that your little guys get to join their cousins, uncles, aunts, etc. as part of the rocking horse clan! Thank you again, dear Kerry. You have made me very happy. BTW, I'm going to show them on my WOYWW post this week.

hahahaha you would have seen my clean desk a few WOYWW's ago, and go further and see how really clean it can get-then I dont want to craft to mess it up. Dont you get that way or am I the only one that feels that way about my clean desk?
Going to read more of your blog, you come across as a very nice interesting and helpful person (when I stop pulling my hair out I will meekly ask you how to go and look for svgs and what you mean about old and new machines etc etc)
