Hi all, I managed to have a play this morning to join in over at Paperartsy Inspiration Challenge and this weeks designer is the amazing Joanne Wardle her cards are super gorgeous. I have always had trouble doing one layer cards but I just had to have a go. I'm not over happy as I really need to keep practicing painting with frescos. Also the stamped image should have been higher but what actually happened was I am now using thin acrylic blocks by Paperartsy, they are fantastic I can actually sit down and stamp, only problem is trailing fingers which I managed to get on the bottom of my card so I chopped it off lol. Recipe of what I used are at the bottom but wow aren't Darcys stamps lush :-)
Right better be off as the challenge finishes soon.
Hugs Kezzy :-) xxxxx

Yep those stamps are awsome! You did them justice on this CAS card.
Lovely. I had problems with the "clean" bit of CAS as well. Harder than it looks but very effective style
oh,my! that's stunning. the colouring makes it look like a tattoo.
did I really inspire this? wow!
I'm always getting smudges on my cards too, that's a problem with loving a clean and simple style but not being a clean and tidy crafter! that's why I love the splatter stamps so much, they cover a multitude of sins!!
just thinking, if you wanted to balance the space at the top you could tie ribbon around it, although I think it looks perfect as it is!
Wow! This makes such an impact! I love the combo of Darcy's stamps and that vibrant red. This is simple but full of life! I spent the day at Ally Pally so I'm playing 'catch up' now!I really admire you for making this style your own and creating a card with zap! I ran out of time this week and CAS was a bit of a challenge too far for such a messy crafter! Hugs Julie Ann xx
Fantastic stamping and the red is so vivid! I love it.
