WOYWW 188

Hi all, bit later today, Oh my trying to get back into work this week is draining lol.  So it's Wednesday which means it's time to show my desks, with everyone else's over at Julia's Stamping Ground, be it messy or neat why don't you pop on over there an have some fun, be aware though it is extremely addicting lol.  I haven't posted much this week as I have been playing with Fresco paint, I managed to tidy up last night and starting decorating one of the tags which is what I am off to finish in a mo :-)

On my desk are a pile of tags made from Fresco paint, tags left
over from the salt technique, a tag that I am about to finish
off in a minute when I have done this post and a box full of
ribbons, flowers, embellishments etc that I have not
sorted yet, I have a rather big addiction to ribbon and paper
but I'm now worrying that it may be spreading to washi and fabric
tape and pretty flowers EEEK!!!!!
Oh and in the corner is some buttons from docrafts from their new
range Very Vintage, I thought it would be a small bag but
it's massive (buttons are another addiction!!!)

My dumping desk has papers from Pion I found this
fab website that sells these in the UK how brilliant it's called Live and Love Crafts
they have some really beautiful vintage papers and embellishments.
I have got a new cutting mat, I have 4 large ones all together and each
time I promise myself that one will always be kept clean for building up
cards etc a clean area for the finishing touches but it never happens
so I bought a small grey one which I can keep at the side so hoping
to keep it clean.  The paper pads are watercolour pads, I got
the whole collection of distress markers for crimbo and according
to the magnolia magazine one of the designers use this, and wow
it's brilliant, it's so flat you wouldn't believe it is watercard and I found
it here in the UK as well cool (if you want the website let me know, I'm
lazy and can't be bothered to search for it at the moment!!! at least I'm honest)
I have been scoring the charity shops for a dictionary as The Craft Barn
(link on side somewhere) is doing a challenge Alphabet journal which
a lot of the designers are using a dictionary.  Well I couldn't fine
one so ended up buying one for 99p from Rymans.  Today I had
to nip to the bank for work and they was a charity shop there
and I managed to get a larger hardback one for £2 and it's a mix of
French and English.  The other book I bought as well for 50p as I am
planning on doing the Calendar challenge over at Kate Crane's blog so
I am going to have a go at altering this plus I also have two new
journals that I really want to have a go at journalling in them this year.

Wow think I went off on a tangent there lol.  I better be going I really really want to finish this tag so I can start something new.
Happy Woyww :-)

Happy Belated WOYWW. Thank you so much for that link (sort of! - I will be in trouble now; there is so much stash I want from their shop) - I will put it on my blog as well. Loving the tag, which you should have finished by now. Great idea using a dictionary for journaling - will go on a hunt for one when I am next in town. Ali x #40

I like the tag. And I love all the 'stuff' on your desks. The more 'stuff' the more creative juices get flowing. :-)
