Creative Expressions - Season's Greetings

Good afternoon, I'm 40 today!!!! Eeeeeek as they say life begins at 40 lol.  I have lots of projects to show you this week, plus a few pictures of my craft room which is coming along slowly.  I go to Ally Pally on the 20th September, then after that I shall be having a big giveaway for you all.  Don't forget Ally Pally is run by Creative Expressions and so many companies are there with all their crafty goodies.  So I'm rather late today with my project for Creative Expressions Blog, this is due to phone calls all morning reminding me my new age, as family do.  We are using lots of Sue Wilson's new crafty goodies this month, all festive and super gorgeous.  As always I shall highlight the products from Creative Expressions during my step by step :-)
I would like to enter the following challenges -
Fan-tastic Tuesday Challenge - Anything Goes (I have been entering this challenge for a few weeks, not I pride myself in the fact I read challenge rules, but somehow (must be old age!!!) I missed that this is a square or rectangle challenge blog, so I apologise and at least this week I have it right lol).
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Just Us Girls Challenge - No 4 1/4' by 5 1/2' card (mine is 8 1/2' by 6')
613 Avenue Create Challenge - Anything Goes (optional twist sights, sounds, tastes of Autumn)

The new festive dies and stamps are brilliant for Christmas, especially
with a quick and easy background like this one :-)

And now for the step by step .............................

I used the brand new Creative Expressions craft dies from the Festive Collection
Mosaic Poinsettia and Classic Poinsettia with Creative Expressions coloured
card stock.

I cut the tag from Creative Expressions Coloured Card Stock using Spellbinders
Fancy Tags 3.

I also layered up my card with both colours of card stock and gold mirror board that
I found in my stash.  I cut a border to across my card also layered with gold mirror board.

Next I lightly stencilled through Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Hollybough with
Ranger Adirondack Meadow ink.

To help soften the background I added a spritz of water to give more of a water effect.

Next I took the gorgeous new stamps Creative Expressions single stamp Elegant Poinsettias
and stamped with Ranger Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer
Christmas Red Sparkle embossing powder.

I inked the edges with Distress Ink Festive Berries and Aged Mahogany.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Creative Expressions single stamp Snowflake
Bauble with the perfect medium and Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold detail embossing
powder.  I also embossed the Creative Expressions stamp set Textures (script) over the
bold poinsettias I cut earlier.

I added my background and then added some Creative Expressions Ribbon.

I edged everything with Creative Expressions Gilding Wax Enchanted Gold
and added extra over the detail poinsettias I cut earlier.  I also layered the sentiment on
gold mirror card.

I put everything together and added some Creative Expressions Small Circle Dazzlers
for some extra Christmas sparkle :-)

Right I better be off, I have my best mate popping in soon, so I'm off to relax before hand and enjoy my Craft Stamper magazine that came today with a cuppa tea and a chocolate biscuit, and guess what, just in case you didn't know, I can do that as it's my birthday lol lol lol. (also got kids cleaning up as well, bliss!!!).
Happy Crafting :-)
Hugs Kezzy xxxxx
