That Craft Place - Trees & Nature and Frilly and Funkie - Stencils and Masks

Good morning, hope your having a gorgeous sunny morning, yep I'm at the computer still working lol, roll on Wednesday.  I have popped on to show my DT card for our new challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog which is Trees & Nature, I also want to enter my card into the current challenge over at Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog which is Stencils and Masks.  At the Craft Place we are being sponsored by Indigo Blu for this challenge, wish I could enter lol!!!  I really got into the Trees and Nature challenge by using leaves as mask for my backing ...............

As you can see with the above pictures it made a gorgeous backing, when I had cut it up for my card I also added some stencilling with some flower sequin waste.

I also took another picture with the light reflecting off it, it really does show the nature side, it's lovely what the sun can do.

I would say the only think I'm not happy about is the sentiment, I reckon it gets lost a bit, but that's how I learn lol.  So why don't you have a go at our Trees & Nature challenge, also the DT will be popping some more inspiration on our That Craft Place Shop Blog, I shall have a altered book going on there in a couple of days :-).  Hope you all have a fantastic crafty week, enjoy your Sunday, I may not be around for the next couple of days due to work work work, but they have to be sent Wednesday so I shall be back to lots of crafting and it's only 11 sleeps until I leave to go to artsycrafts a craft retreat and 3 nights in a hotel plus 3 full days of gorgeous inky, stampy crafting by Paperartsy.  Thanks for visiting :-) Kezzy xxx

Talk about making your own stencil.... I love this! What a great idea using the ferns. This is a lovely card. The stacked flowers are fab and it all comes together beautifully. So glad you joined us at Frilly & Funkie this week!
