Mojo Monthly - Flowers and Sunday Stamper works

Hi all, wow no post for days due to busy accounts then now there done 2 posts in one day lol.  I'm just in time for the Mojo Monthly, I just love what Sarah does and this month the designer interview is with Lin Brown and how exciting is it that I will actually meet Lin as I'm off to Arstycrafts in a week.  Also pop on over to mojo monthly as Sarah does some fab flower creations. I also want to enter it to the Sunday Stamper over on Ink on My Fingers, the challenge being Words, I have wanted to enter for awhile but not had anything inky enough lol.  I have wanted to do this altered book that I had seen in Craft Stamper early last year which was an altered book, I knew my PA at work would love it for her birthday which was the other day, last year I didn't do it as I didn't feel confident enough but this year I decided to have a go with some success :-).  I really love the tissue around the book which I coloured and stamped piles of random text stamps over it, I love the stamped flower, the handmade flower and the rips, but I'm disappointed with how flat the middle is, I really wanted to decoupage it but this stamps however way I tried it, just didn't look good decoupaged.

Close up of the stamped flower I wanted to decoupaged.

Lots of word stamps

The flower I learned from Hels as she was on Create and Craft over a week ago I actually tape it so I could make the flower as she was, but if you pop on her website she has a tutorial on there just check the sidebar.

Right I better be off, hopefully might have something for Friday after I have done my ATC's.  Thanks for visiting :-) Kezzy xxx

I think your book is lovely, I don't think the middle is too flat because the little flower gives it dimension, also love all the words. Anne x
