On my desk is a failed attempt of a workshop I shall be doing for the WI, my
very first and I will be doing it as a volunteer but everything has to
be bought with under £20. Now hopefully I shall be picking something
that I can provide myself and I had this idea of a wreath and flowers.
I had a roll of thin mulberry paper which I completely coloured in shimmer and distress inks.
But they don't hold up very well. So I shall try with thicker paper.
I have all these flowers left which will be going as little gifts in my swaps
and woyww atc's. I also tried on some scrap card to wet them
to see if they make a mark and they do so everyone who gets
some should have a bit of fun :-)
Also on my desk is a wooden hanger that I have just covered in Super Heavy
Gesso from Liquitex which is yummy, the texture is amazing.
These are the scrap papers the flowers lay on to dry, they do have
some old workshop sheets from years ago when I did some online
but I thought I might die cut or punch them out to give as well.
Oh that pile is seriously dangerous!!!!!
Not much change I'm afraid just a few things .................
Poor crochet canvas gone to the back again and some new stamps and stencil from
Paperartsy.
When I was trying to my embossing tools for the metal card I did I found
some old inks I used for Parchment craft and I got them out to see if
I could use them for anything else seems it's been about 7 years since doing parchment craft.
The houses ATC's should be going to new homes this week as I think the swap addresses
will be given out sometime soon.
On the floor which if they were a bit dryer I would have gave you a peek of
the woyww atc's I am in the middle of.
I am doing 10 so 9 for anyone who wants to swap and my partner swap on the day.
Right I shall be off. Thanks a million for taking the time to see my creative messy desks lol.
Happy Art :-)

Ah ha! Found you at last, Kezzy. Sorry I couldn't get back to you earlier after your VERY early visit to my post - my blog provider doesn't give me links to other sites or blogger accounts.... so I didn't know where to find you. Glad I have now. A wonderfully busy desk - or rather, set of desks! Great things all over. I do hope the WI workshop goes well, and you manage to find some card that works well for your flowers.
It was indeed great to go out Saturday and Sunday, and to know that John was being looked after for me. I don't go out for more than about an hour and a half unless there is someone with him - so to go for 6hours each day was incredible!! What great friends we have! So generous with their time.
Take care. God bless.
