WOYWW 359

Good evening, I'm popping on quickly to join in over at WOYWW where everyone shows their creative desk.  So here goes ................................  oops first off, does anyone want to swap with me for the anniversary of woyww?  I am about to start mine so I can send them off to arrive hopefully on the actual anniversary, but of course any overseas I will need to send sooner so I thought I better ask now lol.

My desk is full of die cuts that I have spent the 3hrs doing, I gave up doing the thinlits,
I need to get some more cutting plates I think.  My bigshot is 9years old and I think the base plate
needs replacing too.
Tomorrow I shall get my grand calibar out to have a go at the thinlets.
I am doing my very first workshop for some women in the W.I., I saw the
advert on facebook wanting different crafts so I told them I would
do mixed media.  You can have up to £20 for items, but
I thought if I could cut some bits out of cardboard etc then it saves
them the money.  It's all volunteer work.  I shall let them use
my paints etc for free.

Oh my I so need to have a spring clean, think one is coming on rapidly, I'm surprised
the pile hasn't fallen yet lol.  The bright painted scrap paper is from wiping
up paint while doing my altered playing cards.

My poor dumping desk, still not been able to sew yet lol.

I moved my canvas closer so I can get the first coat of paint on it.

The cards which I haven't blogged yet are for the latest Paperartsy challenge
that I missed again, it was all about resist.  All went well until I made
a huge mistake.  I have redone them as I did love them before the mistake.
I shall blog these tomorrow :-).  Interesting technique using stencils and masking fluid.

A pile of wipe up tags that I want to start sorting so I can make some to go in swaps.
My altered playing cards (9 of them for the swap) are all done and ready to be
told where they are going.  I have  a full tutorial which I shall post at the weekend.
I absolutely loved all the background texture so have decided to do something like
these for the anniversary of woyww, but showing more background rather
then covering it up.

Right that's it from me, why not go and join in and share yours.  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit.

Happy Woyww :-)

Wonderful desk! I'd love to swap with you though I'm not sure what the conditions are yet. I don't think Julia has posted and I didn't participate last year.

I'm not sure when to replace base plates. Mine look terrible. I have some more ready to go but wonder how bad they are supposed to look lol.

Have a great week

So much going on on that busy desk of yours... It's weeks since I've even been on the same continent as my craft table, so I'm very envious!
