Tim Holtz March Journal Page!!!

Hi ya, I'm truly sorry for not posting over the last two weeks, I still was creating but also after all the illness I felt like I wanted to hide a bit.  But I think I am ready to post again all the wonderful things I have been doing, starting with Mr Tim Holtz's March Tag which is truly awesome.  As you know I have started journal pages rather then tags as I struggle with them, but wow I really have enjoyed playing with all my Mr Holtz products and doing a journal page can be challenging.  Also I have finished January now so shall show that later on in the week.  All products used are at the bottom of the page.
I would also like to enter my journal page to the Country View Crafts Challenge Blog - Anything Goes Challenge :-)

Tim's Tag

My Journal Page
The butterfly didn't stand out much because of all the flowers so
I used glossy accents and some shading to make it stand out more.
I love how close up the colours look gorgeous through the glossy accents :-)

Right I better be off, hope your having loads of crafty time, see you in a few days.  Thank you so much for visiting.
Happy Art :-)

Discover Beauty

Good morning, I know another week has gone by, I have been such a bad blogger.  I really need to write a pile of posts, I have so many things to show to you all.  This week I shall try and pull myself away for creating to sit and type some posts up lol.  Today is a new challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and this fortnight it's Add a Charm.  I decided to do a flower, maybe willing spring and warmer weather to hurry up.  This is a chipboard flower from That Craft Place which I painted with my fresco paints and added beads and lots of sparkle.
I would like to enter into the following challenges :-
Simon Says Monday Challenge - B is for Butterflies
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Things that Fly - Butterflies
Artist Trading Post Challenge - Springtime
Crazy 4 Challenges Blog - Bring on the Bling (sparkle embossing powder)

Fresco paints and wow sparkle embossing powder with seed beads
embedded in clear UTEE on the chipboard flowers, crackle background,
metal charms painted with fresco and more sparkle embossing powder,
same with the mini wooden butterly :-).

Right I shall be off.  I want to give a huge wave to my new followers *waves* and a huge thanks to everyone who comes and visits me.
Happy ART :-)

Funky Mosaic Mini Canvases

Hi ya, I know I haven't blogged in a week, purely because of being ill, but after 4.5 weeks the good news is antibiotics are working and I am feeling so much better :-).  Anyway today I am popping on to enter the Miniature Art over on the Paperartsy Blog and I have made paper mosaic tiles (1cm square) on 7cmby7cm canvases, plus on 1inch stampboard, I also found 2 pack of hoarded PA Crackly tissue paper so I also used that.  It all came from playing with my gelli plate and I loads of left over brayer card (which was on PA cardstock and crackly tissue paper), all of the paint I had used was Fresco (product list at the bottom of the post), mainly new colours which I was messing around with.

I left them as is, I can't decide if to add words or if to leave them just like
this, bright and colourful.

These are what I started with and still have loads left lol.

Now this flower was using my stencil brush with my PA stencil, the other flower
on the other canvas was done first but I couldn't be bothered to get up
and grab my stencil brush, I soon changed that for this one as it never works
any other way for me lol.

I did add black around the squares using my stabilo all pencil but I didn't like it so
luckily I managed to wipe it all off.

Right I better go and enter as it finishes soon.  I have really enjoyed playing with all the small squares and definitely think I might have another go.  Thank you so much for visiting.
Happy Art :-)
