Creative Expressions - Vintage Fashion

Hi ya, yep it's Monday which means it's time for my DT creation for the Creative Expressions Blog and this month we are working with some wonderful stamps, Creative Expressions Stamp Set Antique Dressforms which I have used today and also we are working with the Creative Expression Singles bags which I will feature next week.  As always I shall highlight Creative Expressions products in my step by step.

I am also giving away at the end of the month the Creative Expressions Antique Dressform stamp set, brand new not been used.  Each Monday if you comment you will be added into the draw to win, so if you comment 4 times you get 4 chances :-)

I have done 3 ATC's today which are available for swapping, just let me know if you would like to trade :-)

Now for the step by step -

These are the things I started with, not sure why I thought
it would fit all on an ATC lol

To start with I cut Creative Expressions Cardstock to ATC size (3.5by2.5inches),
then I used Distress Ink Scattered Straw for the first layer.

Next I layered over in places Distress Vintage Photo inkpad

To get this depth I then went back with the Scattered Straw to help
blend plus Vintage Photo around the edges.

Close up look

Next I used the same ink pads as above on
two doilies.

Then to warm it up I used Distress Ink pads Rusty Hinge.

Then I used with my finger Creative Expressions
Gilding Wax Enchanted Gold over the top.
Doesn't it look gorgeous, shame you can't really see it on the main
pictures :-)

Next I used some Creative Expressions Metallic Gilding Wax Deep Red,
over some EEK not sure what it is called lol, any ideas? :-)

Close Up

Next I used the scrap card from the ATC's and added Distress Scattered Straw

This time I used Distress Tea Dye and again I went over with the scattered
straw to blend

I wasn't sure what Archival to use so I tested it on a bit of the card above

I stamped the dressforms from Creative Expressions Antique Dressforms stamp
set and used Archival Potting Soil

I ripped around the edges and then used Distress Gathered Twigs and
Walnut Stain

I just love the effect :-)

I then used Creative Expressions Gilding Wax Enchanted Gold around
the edges.

Back to the ATC's backgrounds.  I used Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Drawing Ink
Dark Spice on the mat and dipped my ATC into it, then sprayed with
Cosmic Shimmer Mist Rich Gold.  Thought I would try something
different instead of spritzing water, I really like the effect :-)

I did the same on each one then went around the edges with Distress
Gathered Twigs and Walnut Stain.

Ooooo don't they look gorgeous and sparkly, the acrylic ink hasn't
got mica in it so using the spray gives it that bling :-)

Next I used my favourite script from Creative Expressions Timeless Journey stamp set
with Archival Potting soil and then edged with Creative Expressions Gilding
Wax Enchanted Gold.  I also used Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers and edged
with Walnut Stain and the wax.  Now if you look closely one of the
words have changed in the main picture, that is because at first glance I
thought it said Vogue, but when I was putting it all together I noticed it said
Voyage lol lol lol

Close up of finished background :-)

All you have to do now is put everything together :-).

Hope you liked the step by step, and don't forget if you comment you get put into the draw to win a brand new stamp set that features here.  Also if you want to swap just let me know.
Thanks for Visiting
Happy Crafting :-)
