Hi all, just popped on to enter the inspiration challenge over at
Paperartsy and the designer this week is the amazing
Helen Chilton. As you may have guessed by now I am addicted to Fresco paints, they do everything lol, but this week Helen shows us that it works brilliantly on metal as well, I'm not surprised lol, anyway she painted on a tin. She is using the sewing themed stamps that they bought out last year, now I bought them last June when I attended a full weekend at Artsycrafts but have not yet used them, shock horror I know, so this time I got them out and altered a tin to make a sewing kit for when we go camping :-)
All ready for camping :-)
I painted fabric with fresco paint to stamp on then backed it with denim
Close up ....... Yep I managed to get the reel border and the bottom reel upside down
OOps lol
Right I shall be off, hopefully will be back tomorrow with something I'm working on :-)
Happy Crafting :-)
Hugs Kezzy xxx

Brilliant result, Kezzy, and if you hadn't mentioned it I probably would never have noticed the upside down stamping :) Elizabeth xx

Your tin is gorgeous! I love the colours and stamps. It's perfect.
Lovely project! The stamps are so perfect for a sewing box and I love the way you highlighted the stamping with white.
