Absorb My Energy

Good evening, how are you?  I am sitting in my craft room painting, and I thought I shall type up this post in between drying time.  Actually the area I was just in the middle of doing I was adding the last touch of some Treasure Gold and made a mistake so I'm also waiting for the Winsor & Newton Sansodor (solvent) to dry, it did really well taking off the TG thank goodness.  I hope your all have a fab evening in your arty area :-).  This large journal page (12"by9" loose watercolour paper) is of the sun and how she represents her energy.  If I ever feel low or when life gets stressful I stand outside and close my eyes and look up to the sun, allowing the energy to absorb through me.  It really does help, so when I started LifeBook last year I used this lesson to make my sun angel.  I am also taking this course this year and I would definitely go and have a look, the amount I have learned this year is amazing and I really feel like I have grown as an artist.  As always the products I used are at the bottom of the page :-)

Right I better be off to try again at my painting (canvas 20"by16" my biggest yet).  I hope you have a lovely evening and thank you so much for visiting.

She's wonderful, Kezzy - such serene warmth in her expression, and the soft blending of the colours gives a lovely depth to her face too. Fabulous shiny sparkly glamour and I can imagine she's a great presence to have nearby exuding her warmth and positivity for the new year. Hope 2016 is a wonderful year for you.
