Creative Expressions - Winter Baubles

Good Morning, how are you this morning?  It's Monday which means it's time for my project over at Creative Expressions Blog and this is the last day of using the Festive Collection from Sue Wilson. Today I have a simple card, initially I was going to do more arty bits to it with stencils etc but in the end I felt that it didn't need anything.  As always I shall highlight the Creative Expressions products during my step by step :-).
I would like to enter the following challenges -
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes - optional Heart
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Christmas Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Sisters of Craft Challenge - Anything Goes

I just love lots of sparkle for Christmas :-)

Lots of close up pics :-)

And now for the step by step .............................

Use some Creative Expressions Adhesive Sheets on some card stock the size
of your front panel.

Use Creative Expressions Craft Dies Vintage Bauble and cut out
both sizes on the prepared panel above.

Next take some card that measures slightly less then the front panel.

Using a pencil mark lightly where the stamped baubles should go to match up with the
front, then using Ranger Perfect Medium and Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Metallic Embossing
Powder stamp the baubles and sentiment from Creative Expressions Single Stamps
Christmas Night Bauble and Snowflake Bauble.

Using a mix of Distress Markers in Faded Jeans and Tumbled Glass and
Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Watercolours in Marine Sea and Harebell
colour in the baubles.

Pop over the front panel to see that everything looks ok.

I realised I needed to give some shading around the edges so I used the
Distress Marker Tumbled Glass and a water brush to go around the edges.

Next remove the protective sheet from the front panel and use a mix of
Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels in Iced Snow and Diamond Sprinkles to cover
the whole panel, patting it down to make sure it sticks well.

Matt and layer your card base and sentiment with blue and silver card stock.

Colour some Creative Expressions Pearl Gems with Adirondack Alcohol Ink Cloudy
Blue and Stonewash.  (I used the cloudy blue first, but it wasn't dark enough
so I went over with stonewash).

Put everything together and edge with Creative Expressions Gilding Wax Summer Blue.

Right that's it for now, I shall be back tomorrow with some more makes (I had a very productive weekend lol).  Thanks for Visiting.
Happy Creating :-)
