Paperartsy Inspiration - Flowers

Hi all, late as usual lol, I'm here to show my entry into the challenge over at Paperartsy and wow we have been mega treated this week, the designers have been Suzanne CzosekJo Firth-YoungLinda Brown and Sara Naumann.
I used an old canvas board that already had ink on it (picture below) and added some die cuts I had hanging around and a leave mask with grunge paste (amazing stuff).  Fresco is so good that I was able to cover the board with two coats of snowflake and all the colours disappeared.  Then I did the background with Fresco paints iced blue, sky and baltic blue. I made some stalks from fibres and wire and toned down the wire with some south pacific fresco.  I stamped the garden growth from HP1009 with south pacific then archival jet black inkpad. I die cut grunge flower 1 and 2 from scrunched crackly paper then painted it with butternut, smoked paprika and brown shed fresco paint.  The I stamped the flowers and leaves from ELB01 the flowers with the fresco paint above on black card and leaves guacamole and hyde park.  Cut them all out and added together.  The I stamped the sentiment from Flora and Fauna 6 with the fresco and stamped on black card and back with crackly paper.  I don't have treasure gold so I mixed inka gold pearlescent with smoked paprika and brown shed fresco paint and added highlights to all the raised areas and some other areas.  Next I added some buttons :-)

Eeek got to go or I will miss the deadline.  See you later hugs Kezzy :-) xxxxx

Brilliant! You've covered all the bases on the one canvas, love the varied techniques you incorporated there!

Oh, yum... I love those die-cuts creating texture in the background - what a completely cool idea! Great canvas...
