Hi all, I can't believe it, I'm doing my weekly addiction in a morning, normally I'm always late lol, wondering what I'm talking about ................ of course it's the weekly famous woyww (whats on your workdesk wednesday) where all us crafters get together and show our desk for the world to see, and this amazing weekly event is hosted by non other than Julia.
Can't believe the kids are back from their dad's tomorrow, I really have missed them but surprisingly it has gone fast, the first few days I felt lost and crafted quite a bit, then it sort of hit OH and I that this is the best opportunity to spend together, and wow we are having such a fantastic loving time. As you know, we have been having difficulties with Brad my 13yr old son, but his dad and yvonne (stepmum) have really been working with him, giving us a break, and I really feel that the time spent together will make us alot stronger to cope with anything that is thrown as us.
So my desk this week, a bit of a mess lol, my spare desk has the bid fodder colouring on it, I decided to see if I could mask and spray around the Kraftin Kimmie I did, at first it worked brilliantly but I felt it wasn't close enough so I cut closer and reused the mask, big mistake, it was already wet and didn't mask much so I ended up with a blue freckled Kimmie, then I sprayed over her in a light brown seeing if I could get a good effect, nope it all went bad, so downstairs is another Kimmie being colouring lol. I am impressed with the bottle top I have done ready for the card, at last I found the right circle punch and really enjoyed playing.
My working craft desk has the start of a tutorial, stamping on fabric. On Friday (original post here) I did a less is more card and stamped on fabric and coloured with promarkers, I did alot of test stamping with different inkpads etc to see what would be best with the promarkers so I have decided to do a tutorial about it, try some paints as well for mine and also the design team blog I'm on, pretty new to tutorials but excited all the same, and nope not doing video just pictures, not sure I'm ready for that lol.
Right I shall be off, got some work to do, beds to change before kids get back, some tidying and ironing before OH comes back this evening as were off out for a meal. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me and my blog, I haven't visited much to others this week as been enjoying time with OH and I have read 4 books as well, I have a great love for reading, I enjoy a good James Patterson book and have enjoyed the time to be able to read, Monday I sat all day on the sofa in PJ's and read one whole book in 12 hours, how naughty is that!!!! Thanks for visiting, have a great crafty week, Happy Woyww :-)

Nice to have some kick back and relax however you like time. Playing creatively frees the soul!
So nice to hear an upbeat post about exdh and stepmum...glad to hear they are working with you to help your son.
He is lucky to have a Mum and Stepmum and Dad that care about him!
How wonderful I am glad you sat back and relaxed we should all take a lesson from that and do it more ofter instead of running around like blue ass flies. LOL
James Patterson is a great author and I can understand how you can read all day, his books have a way of capturing you like that.
When I want to stamp onto fabric I paint my fabric with Transperant Gesso and dry it then use ink pads like Momento and it is so much easier, give it a go if you can.
Happy crafting.
