WOYWW 161

Hi all, it's Wednesday which means us crafter's get our weekly fix of woyww over at the amazing hostess Julia's blog, so go on why don't you show your crafty desk so we all can ooooo and ahhhh lol.
For the first time in ages I'm early, but I need to be quick as I'm in the middle of work lol, mind you my desk I use for work/craft I usually try and clear before working, but today as you will see, that's impossible and I'm working on the desk with my computer on in a little space :-)

Dumping desk, sewing machine still being used on most things,
book paper, patterend paper, paints, wax crayons all lying
in wait to be used :-)

BE WARNED - this may upset crafters who went to the Tim Holtz artsycrafts last year!!!! lol

I have now finished one DT so am planning lots of playing,
I'm working on a tag and some ATC's with some Indigo blu stamps
and being green for the current challenge over at That Craft Place.
Yep at the back is the configuration that we did with Tim Holtz, and yes
I'm pulling it apart!!!! I never got anywhere near finishing, think I had problems
with it being a bit too grungy so all it's done is sat on a shelf all year.
I do follow Mr Holtz blog, and when thing he always believes in is that it's your
art and enjoy the journey, so I am in the middle of pulling apart to re do,
I'm planning on making it lighter and on a sewing theme.  I am not
pulling apart the outside, I am keeping that as Mr Holtz signature is on it, maybe one day
I might make something with while preserving the signature.
So lots of playing, learning and enjoying the journey :-)

Hope you have a fantastic crafty week, enjoy, Happy woyww :-) Kerry xxx

Hi there. Nice to pop in and see your creative world this week. I won't stay long; don't want to give you my cold! Hope you have a good creative week though. You do what you need to do ; Tim would be the first to say that you need to enjoy the journey. No point in living with something that is not you. Rework, revisit and above all, create art for you.

Hi Kezzy, I wish I could get to grips with my sewing machine ... it might help if I practiced more ... because I love the effect the stitching makes to projects. I'm sure it's no bad think to rework the configuration box instead of consigning it to the land of the forgotten entirely - though, you are probably quite right to conserve TH's signature :)) Good luck with the project and Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #85

Busy desk. I wish I could get to grips with sewing on scrapbook layouts. I use my sew easy but I have never tried with a real machine. Off to follow you now. Thanks for sharing. jenx

Good iead to have the sewing machine out...that way it gets used more easily! Stitching non cards and layouts is so nice.
