Paperartsy Watercolour Challenge and a Giveway

Hi, back again, this time with step by step pics for the challenge over on the Paperartsy Blog.  Also over the next two weeks I shall be doing another 5 Paperartsy posts and a giveaway which will end on the 19th March.  The giveaway is my all time favourite brand Paperartsy.  All you need to to is comment on each of the 6 posts that has Paperartsy at the beginning of the title and you will get a chance to win some stamps, paint, stencil and watercolours (pic at end of post).
So this post is all about the challenge which is Watercolour.  I have shown you step by step using the paints, the infusions, sprays as watercolour. Plus put some links to That's Crafty (in the product list at the end) where I buy all my Paperartsy goodies.

I just love how this turned out, I had no idea what it was going to be
so it was great fun to play and be in the moment.

Here I am putting the paint in little cups with some water, I just added what I thought lol

I love how when you drip the watered paint into the water on the paper it just spreads.

Did this with a mark making tool.  Just flicked here and there.

I dried this first layer with a heat gun.

Started repeating the above.

Added some white.

More colour.

Second layer dry.

Next watered down white fire.

Dried again.

Next the infusions plus a little salt, wasn't sure how it would react but it gave great texture in the end.

Dried third layer.

Close up of texture.

Next using mark making tools and the paint colours not watered down.

A felt pen lid.

Here is a little foam stamp I made.

Some bead gel through a stencil.

I love how it sucks up the infusions.

Some drippage with water and pen work.

Splashes with paint and then stencil for the Embrace plus the chit chat sticker.  I also outlined the embrace with white pen but I didn't take a pic.

The Giveaway .........................................................
Remember to comment on each of the posts (this plus 5 others) for a chance of the giveaway.  If you comment on all the posts then you get 6 chances in the giveaway.

I shall be back in the week with more Paperartsy projects.  Just me showing you how wonderful their products are especially the paint.

Happy Art :-)
