WOYWW 419

Hi, it's Wednesday which only means one thing lol, it's time to visit the amazing Julia for WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday).

I have a few things going on lol.  The paints in the top left are for a colour journal
page I have just finished.  The Journal on the right is my first page in Dina Wakley's
new journal.  I am planning on doing a products type series.  Firstly starting with
everything Dina, then I shall move onto another product/company.  I am
planning 5 posts for each project.  It's just an idea but I have really enjoyed the freedom
and excitement of trying things out I have used in awhile.
The heart is for my dad, well his urn at mums.  It was his birthday last week
and I got him a bear, but this time I wanted to make something special.  He always
supported me in my art and kept everything I made.  The palette knife I am
using is actually what my dad gave me a few years ago as he was a builder before
he retired.  I can't believe he has been gone now for almost 3 months :-(
I am in the middle of letting the heart dry a bit so I can do the edges and then back to
the other journal page :-)

Yep my poor trolleys are being mega dumped on.  I promised myself
I would keep them tidy but I have failed lol.

I have even been dumping on the drawers, I thought moving them
would stop me but no, I'm still doing it.  Actually some of the things are waiting
for pics to be taken then I can put them away (it's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!)

Right I shall be off, got to get messy!  Thank you for taking the time to visit.
Happy Art :-)

Mini Textured Heart Canvas

Hi ya, sorry it's been awhile.  I'm now ready to be back into the world of blogging after loosing my dad and father in law within 6 weeks of each other.
Today I have for you a super small canvas which I wanted to have a go at.  It was inspired by the amazing Jools Robertson who's art is truly spectacular.  I found it on Pinterest awhile back and one day I was browsing through my boards and found it again.  The picture is below for the Frilly challenge.  You can find the blogpost Here and the pinterest here.  I have to admit I wanted to use up some lace and the texture on her creation gave me the idea.  Mine is nothing like hers but that's the best bit, we can take a creative piece and put our stamp on it, I think that's what I mean lol.
I would like to enter the following challenges :-
Frilly and Funkie Challenge - inspiration pic ............

Simon Says Monday Challenge - Touchy Feely
Mixed Media World Challenge - Anything Goes
A Bit More Time To Craft Challenge - Anything Goes

All products are listed at the end of the page :-)

Right I shall be off.  I will be back on Wednesday for a peek at my messy desk.  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and a huge thank you to Jools for allowing me to use her image (I checked with her first).
Happy Art :-)
