Good morning, it's time for another challenge at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and this fortnight it's my turn to host the challenge and I have chose 'Make your own Backgrounds', this could be something simple like altering a patterned paper with a little stamping. I love adding a little extra to my backgrounds even if I only use an embossing folder and I so wanted others to have a go, hence the challenge. Over on the Shop Blog I have done a few tutorials through September ready for this challenge to give others some ideas, I'm no way an expert, they were just simple ideas and today I shall put up a tutorial on masterboards. Really it's not much of a tutorial as a follow me while I'm learning lol as this was the first time I had done one!!!!. If you saw my post on Friday you will see the first one I did and here is the other one I finished last night .......
I decided to do a bit of stamping to give it a little extra -
I would love to enter the following card into these challenges :-
Passion for Promarkers Challenge Blog - Autumn Leaves
Crazy 4 Challenges - Leaves
Everybody Art Challenge - Autumn
And here is the card I made from the background above
I have really enjoyed doing these backgrounds and have plenty left for more cards this week, think I might go for some CAS cards with just a background and sentiment, that might look good lol. This won't be the last time as I think I shall probably do loads more, I would love to do a christmas one as that would make loads of cards after. Thank you to everyone who visits and truly appreciate it. Happy Crafting :-)
Hugs Kerry xxx

Last Days of Summer
Hi all, Yep it's late and I have about 1.5hrs to join the challenge over at Crafty Individuals Blog which is 'Last Days of Summer'. I have started to become a huge fan of crafty individuals stamps, their English, great quality, everywhere sells them, the value are excellent, I normally buy them from all over the place but a fews ago I wanted a specific stamp so I bought from the Crafty Individuals Shop and wow the service was quick (next day) and I even got a goody stamp, and they emailed personally to say my bits were on the way, fantastic service and I shall buy from them in future.
So I recently found they had a blog and saw the latest challenge, but couldn't think of what to do so left it lol, then earlier in the week I found a picture and some ribbon that inspired me to make a masterboard which I finished last night, problem was I have had one of those days that makes you want to curl in a corner shouting go away lol and have only just managed to do the card and finish it hence why I'm late. Also this challenge (not sure if it's everyone, probably the odd one) you get 25%off in their store how fab is that.
Right I shall be off, I'm in the middle of another masterboard for a Challenge on Sunday. Thanks so much for visiting :-) Kerry xxxx

WOYWW 173
Wow I can't believe my last post was last weeks woyww, how did that happen? So back to WOYWW (hosted by Julia), I seemed to have spread out everywhere this week lol. I have had a bit of mojo problems, little rascal seemed to escape while I had been sorting and I seem to be having problems dragging him back!!! :-) also I have been struggling with pain in my back and legs so not able to sit, stand, lie, walk etc and we have to do one of those things lol.
So my desks this Wednesday evening .................
Right I shall be off, thank you so much for taking the time to follow and visit me, I really should be back to better blogging soon. Happy Woyww :-) Kerry xxx
So my desks this Wednesday evening .................
Sofa craft, colouring, it really helps me relax, which really
helps when your so tense with pain, after colouring bit it I can
start to feel some relief. I always but a base colour down when colouring,
it helps me see what colours I'm going to be using, but you can
tell on her that hair and skin is done as it seems to pop lol.
Oh and don't forget Mr Winnie Pooh who keeps me company :-)
Just stamped another image for colouring as I'm off downstairs as can't
manage to finish what I'm doing at my desk, it so annoys me but sometimes
you have to give up as if not I get it wrong anyway. The yellow tub is full
of sponges etc that need cleaning, I have almost run out so I delved in
there earlier to see if I could retrieve some to use on my masterboard.
Promise I shall clean them tomorrow :-)
Yep a bit messy this week, just started my masterboard idea for a background
tutorial, the fact that this is the first time I have ever done one lol
This will then close my background tutorials over on the DT blog which
I have done most of September, I am looking forward to doing some
bits for myself. The first thing I'm going to do when I'm finished is
get some tags, inkpads, water, sprays etc and just mess about doing
anything I want :-)
If you visited last week you will know that I have some more storage
which was slightly bigger than I thought!!! It's only been here 5 minutes and
I'm using it as another dumping ground, dear dear me I need to stop that lol
Mind you these are the colours I'm taking downstairs to colour my autumn image
so they won't be there for long!!! Question is what will end up on there next week :-)
The piece of ribbon and the piece of magazine is what has inspired me
for the masterboard (pink, orange, yellow).
Right I shall be off, thank you so much for taking the time to follow and visit me, I really should be back to better blogging soon. Happy Woyww :-) Kerry xxx

WOYWW 172
Hi all, it's Wednesday which means it's time for my weekly addiction of WOYWW. I am yet again in the middle of a tutorial, this month over on the DT blog I'm on I have been doing a tutorial each week on backgrounds during September, and I can say now, I won't be doing that again lol lol. I want to craft but all I'm doing is DT work, I have got loads of new bits to play with and haven't been able to, also I have got all my crimbo craft down as well. Don't get me wrong I love the DT work but the tutorial are taking up longer then I thought, but this is my fault as I never know when to stop!!!!
I have also included a picture of a plastic drawer set I bought today, now my OH always says that I'm awful with measurements which he is right lol. Well today I bought this plastic drawers thinking that I'm sure they were only slightly bigger then the ones I have but has an extra drawer so I could put a few more tools in, lets just say, when you see the picture you will laugh lol.
Also in that picture you can see my recycling bag, I have decided that I need to move this as well, seems I have noticed that I keep missing bits, I have had to buy a new distress inkpad lavender and dusty concord, and I think I know where I'm loosing them!!! during my creative messiness I think bits get sweeped into the green bag which then gets stuck outside for Mr binmen, I just hope they do some crafting!!!! lol lol.
I have also included a picture of the finished jigsaw pieces you saw last week.
Right I shall be off, I am planning on starting a bright tag shortly for the stampman challenge so should be back tomorrow to show it off :-). Thank you all so much for visiting, Happy woyww :-) Kerry xxx

Keeping quite clear, my best deal this week was the little mist bottles
to the left, 4 for £3.06 from the little craft aladdins cave that's
near me :-)
Just finishing all the backgrounds which were all based on
doing extra on patterned paper. The papers I just about to work on
are going to be cut up to make a chevron border (I hope lol)
Yep I swear that it was only going to be slightly bigger
hmmmmmmmmmmm got that wrong!!! and you can just
see the craft eating recycling bin to the left lol

Hi all, it's Sunday which means it's time for the fortnightly challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog and the challenge is Bling. I had real problems with my DT piece, I really didn't know what to make, I love sparkle but couldn't seem to come up with anything lol. In the end I decided to do a jigsaw hanging and to be honest most of my ideas seemed to change as I went along with it as most art projects do :-) but I'm happy with the end result. I would love to enter my project into the challenges over at Lets Create and Craft Challenge which is Anything but a Card and Papertake Weekly Challenge which is Things that make you go Awwwww.

WOYWW 171
Oops I'm quite late lol, it's Wednesday and time for WOYWW were everyone gathers to show our desks. Last Thursday evening I went completely mad when I couldn't find something in my craft room and started to sort everything out, WOW not sure it was the most suitable job to start when you have loads to do lol. This evening about 10 mins ago I have at last managed to sort out the room to somewhat workable area, but still have loads to do but can now get to my desks lol. I have managed to get rid of 12 bags of card and papers!!! They have all gone to my mate who has started crafting again now her little one is 2.5yrs old Lacie-Louise and I am a pretend Aunty to her and love her to bits and already she loves to craft :-). I have still so much more to sort, I'm planning on getting my stamps off the floor and into folders and then at the weekend it's time to get Christmas out of it's box!!! I know I normally hate the word this early but this year I am planning on starting early, I normally buy all this gorgeous bits and never use them as I'm too late so this year I'm looking forward to all those new patterned papers and stamps I bought last year and haven't been used!!! plus a few new bits of course :-)
Right I shall be off, I really do appreciate everyone supporting me while I'm going through my mad sorting stage and not producing much lol, hopefully I shall be rectifying this. Thank you all for your amazing comments I really do appreciate everyone of them :-). Thanks for visiting, Happy Woyww :-) Kerry xxx

Earlier this evening plus some DT work I'm preparing!!! how I

Passion for Promarkers - Lace and Swirls Steampunk Style!!!
Hi all, wow I haven't been around since last Wednesday, this could be because Thursday evening I had enough of my craft room being a mess and spent then plus Friday, Saturday and Sunday doing my craft room, I have managed to get rid of 10 bags which will be going to my mate and nursery :-). Anyway on Thursday I finished the below card, I had been meaning to post it since then but I couldn't even get to my desk lol.
I have so much visiting and blogging to do, I shall try and catch up with everybody tomorrow. I did my card for the current challenge over at Passion for Promarkers which is Lace and Swirls, I originally heat embossed swirls (close picture below) but didn't think you would see it very well so did a nice border with an embossing folder on metal. The lace trim was sprayed with dylusions spray.
When I first bought this stamp it reminded me of the graphic 45 steampunk papers I had with the roses down the dress, so really wanted to have a go at a cute steampunk card :-), everything I used is below.
Right I shall be off, I have to work in the morning, so as I work mostly from home I really need to clear a space on my workdesk which is more like a craft sorting desk lol lol. Thank you so much for visiting, and I will catch up with you all soon. Hugs Kerry :-) xxx

WOYWW 170
Hi all, at least I'm on the right day this week!!! It's Wednesday which means it's time for everyone to share their desks over at WOYWW. Kids are back to school today which means it's time to get into some sort of routine lol, it has been lovely spending some time with them, but of course this means I have less time to craft or blog, so I'm afraid I didn't get to visit alot last week. I also spent the time I did have available finishing my tutorial over on the DT blog I'm in, it's a tutorial on promarker backgrounds with alcohol blending solution. I'm amazed sometimes how far I have come with my crafting and the fact that this is my second tutorial really amazes me sometimes, I guess I just don't think that I'm good enough yet to be doing such things lol, I have no confidence.
So onto my desk, if you can remember awhile back in July I ruined a Kraftin Kimmie I had coloured by spraying, well I decided seemed I had got the card base sorted I would re do it to get it out of the way, well that card is meant not to happen, will I learn? nope I coloured last night and decided that spraying it would make it better, I know how could I do this again, well in the end I had ruined the die cut I had it on but was able to cut the image out, but the card, I can't seem to be happy with it full stop lol
So onto some pics ...............................
Right I better be off, I have probably bored you all now lol. I'm off to do some visiting, shall hopefully be back with a post tomorrow with a certain annoying card lol, that or it has become bin fodder!!!!
Happy Woyww :-) Thanks for visiting, Hugs Kerry xxx

It was my birthday last Saturday and this was
my birthday present to myself :-)
These were also a present from money my mum gave me,
about 3 miles from where I live there is a craft shop which is
like an aladdins cave, it sells things cheaply normally older stock
etc. These felt packs have 2 sheets of 4 colours in each pack for
the value price of £1.53 a pack!!!! I used some on the canvas I did on
Sunday, it sewed up lovely, if you haven't seen the post
it's here :-)
This is what else I got for my birthday, some of it from
the craft shop mentioned above and some from my kids, OH and sister.
Dumping desk!!!
The nightmare card, that I'm determined to get it out of the way this evening.
I seriously have to start clearing up some mess, first
I have to make room lol, in those bags near and under the
stool are new ribbons and flowers some from prima
just lurking in bags.
Stamps that need to be sorted and put in files, the ones
in the carry bag have just come from upstairs after I have
just mounted them. My quilling box looks a nightmare.

Black and White Canvas
Hi all, it's time for another challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog, it's Laney's challenge this fortnight and she has chosen Black and White. Now normally I never do just black and white so went searching through piles of papers trying to find pure white and black, I discovered that a lot of papers were black and cream and had to be careful to choose the pure white. In the end I found enough lol, then I cut them up into random strips and glued them on a canvas randomly, also cutting with decorative scissors to give some texture, then I painted the sides and on the edges. I then went on to my centre piece, using sewing, felt, paperartsy stamps that I received in my DT package, white embossing, die cut heart (details all below).
I would like to enter my canvas into the following challenges :-
Why don't you pop on over and have a look at the other DT creations which are gorgeous, also you can enter via Facebook which Lisa also takes lots of pictures of goodies to buy. We also have a Shop Blog with lots of inspiration and tutorials (I shall being loading one up tomorrow regarding backgrounds, promarkers and alcohol blending solution!!!).
Right I shall be off, in my craft room for the rest of the day creating so lots of fun :-) Thanks for visiting. Kerry xxx
I would like to enter my canvas into the following challenges :-
Simon says Stamp - Anything Goes
Everybody Art - Anything Goes
I made two as one of them is being sent to the shop :-)
This is the one going to the shop
This one for home, I tried some odd doodling, I'm not too impressed
with it but I guess you need practise.
Close up of the one for home :-)
