ATC's and Sad News

Good morning, I want to apologise for not being around this last few weeks, if you can remember I was telling you all about my mother in law being in hospital and my father in law had dementia?  As you know she came out. I'm afraid a few days after she had a major stroke, lost all feeling on her left side, plus she had a bleed on the brain.  We had to put my father in law in respite care as the social services at the hospital advised it as he didn't have a clue, all he kept doing was trying to escape to get to his wife.  We also learned he has alzheimer's.  We were told last Monday that they had done everything for Pauline but she had now lost feeling in the right side of her body and we had to sign a DNR.  She died peacefully Thursday evening.
As you can imagine the last few weeks have been extremely difficult and crafting, blogging and commenting had to be put on hold.
Today though I have some ATC's to show you that I did for a swap, there is a new challenge over at That Craft Place, I already had the ATC's done so I thought I would join in this week with the DT challenge (I normally just do all the posting).

The swap was for Stampotique and the title for us was Swaparoo
which was swapping bodies.

Thank you so much for your continued support and visiting me, hopefully normal blogging will resume soon.
Happy Art :-)
Hugs Kezzy

Unruly Paperarts - Gelli Printing

Hi all, I know I haven't blogged a lot recently, my mother in law has been in hospital really poorly and we have been looking after my father in law (dementia is a horrible disease) while she was hospital and both of them when she came out.  Things are looking so much better thank goodness and they are now back at home, but due to everything I haven't been crafting a great deal.  I have been able to do some drawing in my sketchbook, I have been practising faces, so I have still been creative. I have spent this weekend doing the end of year payroll as I have my injections for my back on Tuesday so it has been a bit busy and painful.  But after a few days recovery next week, I shall be bouncing around with some time off so really looking forward to it, lots of creating.

So today I am popping on to tell you about my article over on the Unruly Paperarts Blog, this month it's all about gelli printing and I had a go at the dried paint method.  I did mention on there that I would show what I have done with the painting scraps but I only got to do 2 moos before everything got busy with the in laws.  But I love using my painty scraps and I am in the middle of a journal page that I want to use them for so I shall blog more as I go on.  But the 2 moos are at the bottom of the other makes.  I didn't actually make an end creation just the gelli prints to use in the future (on of the prints I used as a moo).

Cut up for 3 Moos.

Background for a card, the specks are gold flicked on.

Here are the clean up left overs, can't wait to use them in my journal and in swaps.

Here are the Moo's I made for a swap, the kites are made from the extra deli paper
that was used to clean up paint.

So if you would like to find how I made the gelli prints please pop on over to the Unruly Paperarts Blog.  Also keep checking the blog this month to see what the rest of the DT have made, wow their creations are gorgeous.  Also don't forget to play in this months challenge as the winner will receive a gelli print.  Plus there are other giveaways during the month.  Thank you for visiting.
Happy Art :-)
