WOYWW 208 The big 4 :-)

Happy Woyww
(designed by Nikki especially for the birthday bash)

Hi all, it's time yep for the mega birthday bash over at Julia's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.  I was hoping to be earlier but had to go into work as something came up then all afternoon I have had visitors :-).  It's been nice as, wait for it, I have FINISHED the end of year accounts hurray.  So time to enjoy especially as I'm taking a week off.  Anyway forget that it's all about WOYWW today.  I have already received 3 ATC's, I haven't shown them just in case others haven't got theirs etc but they are gorgeous.  I shall be sending mine out tomorrow when I know who I'm sending it to lol.  I have been woywwing for over two years and I have met some amazing people and made some awesome friends.  And Julia the queen of woyww, I'm not sure she realised that adding a 'show me yours' 4 years ago, would be as popular and amazing as it is, and I have to say a huge thanks to her JULIA YOUR AWESOME, every week without fail,  even when on holiday, she links all us crafters together, a huge commitment and that's why we all love her :-)

So my desk and my ATC's - just got to envelope them this evening, going to send tomorrow, I just have to get my * address when I link (I keep saying don't forget * I did last year and had to re link lol) and I'm waiting on one more who I asked to swap with.  I shall show them next week as I don't want to ruin it for the receivers. Oh and for fun, down below is my very first woyww picture taken on 12th January 2011 number woyww 84 :-)

As you can see sewing machine out so everything shoved
to corner :-)

Just received some new goodies from Paperartsy and
bits and bobs out from working on ATC's last night :-)

Wow doesn't things change lol, Oh it looked so clean and not so cluttered :-)

Happy Woyww everyone, hope you all have a fantastic crafty week, I shall start my visiting this evening, I'm so wanting to get around as many as possible with it being the big birthday bash lol
Hugs Kezzy xxx  (p.s just about to random org winner of my giveaway so pop back if you entered :-))

Yummy Yummy Craft Candy

This Candy post will stay on top for two weeks
please scroll down for new posts :-)
PLEASE NOTE - I have extended the giveaway for
another week to give others a chance to enter :-)
On the 29th May I shall post the winner :-)
Hi all, I have been meaning to do a giveaway since the end
of January when it was my two year blogiversary and
at last I have managed to sort some out lol.
I have been collecting on and off and have loads of new stamps
to giveaway,  so I have decided to have one big
giveaway and then little ones over the next few months.
This post will be up here for the next two weeks and
the winner will be posted on 29th May 2013 by random org.
If the winner lives abroad and the postage would cost a stupid
price (i.e UK to Australia) I will agree with the winner
an online shop over there and buy a voucher to the worth of £15.00(GBP)
To be eligible for the giveaway
You do not have to be a follower but it would be nice if you did :-)
You do not have to put on your blog but it would be nice if you did :-)
You do not have to leave a comment but it would be nice if you did :-)
All you have to do is add your blog to linky below :-)

All stamps are new and not used.  The one at the back is Crafty Individuals,
there is a Paperartsy one, and the wooden one is the Tim Holtz butterflies.
The canvas is sealed, but on the outside there are a couple of splashes
of sprayed dylusions, you can't really see them (and obviously is on the outside not on
the canvas lol) this happened while I piled some of the candy on the side
and I managed to spray completely across the room lol.

Good luck and a huge Thank you to everyone
who has followed me this last two years :-)
Happy Crafting

Paperartsy Inspiration

Hi all, just popping on to show my entry for the Paperartsy Inspiration Challenge and this week the designer has been Carol Quance and she made two awesome projects.  I was completely inspired by her first project using beads.  Because of the end of year accounts due next week I have been working all the time at home and only had the evening for creating, so since Monday I have been doing the project lol and just finished it about an hour ago, to find we didn't have internet I could have cried.  So better be quick in case it goes again.
I used bora bora and blood orange in the background which
was cut from Paperartsy  chipboard.
I stamped Lynne Perrella LPC004 onto fabric with Archival jet black
then watered down fresco paints claret, beach hut, nougat, rose, old gold
to paint it in, the old gold I used with decoart pearlizing to give it a really
soft sheen with a slight vintage feel behind the head.   Then I went to town
with beads and the little trims took ages and ages and ages lol but
I love it :-)  Before I painted the background I used a mask
with grunge paste then at the end I embossed over the top, I should
be getting my treasure gold next week :-)

Right I better be off or I won't get it in on time.  Happy Bank Holiday Crafting :-) Hugs Kezzy xxx

WOYWW 207

Hi all, it's late Wednesday evening and of course today is the day we all share our desks over at Julia's blog for the amazing What's on your workdesk Wednesday.  I want to say a HUGE sorry to everyone, I haven't got around anyone's desk last week, I'm afraid the accounts are really sucking the life and time out of me.  My injections are due so struggling with pain during all of it, for some reason this year they are big lol, great for the business tiring for me lol.  I still have some ATC's if anyone else wants to swap, oh ok I lie, I have got the basis of them, but taking the day of over the weekend to finish them so they are all ready.  I shall be sending them off Wednesday with the accounts, all done and dusted a day early hopefully lol plus my candy has been extended so I shall be posting that as well!!! (candy here).

I am only getting around a couple of hours in the evening
to craft, but I seem to be bitting and bobbing :-)

Yep I took the photo while I was working this morning,
as you can see, I just shoved everything over for the file
I had to laugh lol (covered contents, best not show the world or I shall
be sacked eek need pennies for craft!!!)
As you can see I was trying to remake the idea I learned at the workshop
this weekend, it was bigger but I cut it up as I hated it.  Smaller size
looks better.  Think I shall put it away for another day :-)
The butterfly is foam cut from the Tim Holtz die bunny and butterfly,
I wanted to stamp with it lol.  I think I should have cleaned it
oops!!!

The floor is no better, all those beautiful stamps in bags
they so need to be filed.  I have a week off after the accounts so
I think I should try and make a dent into it lol.
The canvas to the right is the workshop I did last weekend with
Lin Brown it was so fun but as you can see I need
to finish it off :-)

Right then I'm off to bed in a mo, I so need to sleep.  I will so try and get around over the week, but I really do appreciate all the comments, they certainly make my day :-)  Remember if you would like to swap email or leave a comment.  Hope you all have a fantastic crafty week.  Big hugs to everyone and thank you all for bearing with me.  One week and they are done done done done, I shall start singing that soon lol.

Paperartsy - Finished at last!!!

Hi all, I can't believe that I haven't done this post earlier eek!!! over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog it's Makes for Men and I decided to finish what I started at Paperartsy Artsycrafts last year lol.  I think it's mainly because when I went I felt a bit wowed by the whole thing, 3 days of mixed media which I was really new at.  So this was the 3rd day project (shall be completing the rest over the next few weeks/months!!!) and it was all about metal, rust and grunge.  I thoroughly enjoyed finishing it off, the whole wire technique gave lots of scratches but finally it's up on the wall :-)

Lots of close ups lol as it would be extremely hard to remember everything.  If you would like to know any details just leave a comment and I shall go have a hunt lol.
I'm sorry I am not getting around to visit much, accounts are due to be sent a week on Thursday, all done, then I get a week off which I have a feeling I will need lol.  Mind you I am spending some time in the evening crafting as it helps me chill.
Lots of hugs

Paperartsy - Love like you have never loved before

Hi all, yep back with my last project of this weeks Paperartsy Inspiration Challenge and this week the designer has been the amazing France Papillon.  She did a journal page in a small journal, I had bought a small one a few years ago and I haven't used it so this was the time and wow I love it.  Big pages scare me, but this well I can't wait to carry on lol.  I shall pop on in a bit with all the stamps etc but they are all Paperartsy and Fresco paint with some grunge paste thrown and the heart die :-)

Right I better be off and enter lol, back later with all the details, I need to clear up a weeks stamping, painting and grunging while trying to work out what I used lol, it's so bad I have stamps all over the floor as well :-)
Hope you all have a fantastic Sunday with lots of crafting.

Paperartsy - My Voices

Hi all, got to be mega quick as I have two posts for the Paperartsy Challenge, I would have linked one up last night but I was knackered after a fantastic day with Lin Brown doing the Secret Garden canvas.  I shall show all when it's finished.  So this week over at the Paperartsy Blog the designer is France Papillon and wow she really has inspired me, I have been doing 3 projects together as I was so inspired lol.
I shall pop back later to add all the details of what I have used as they are all over my desk, all of it was Paperartsy apart from dylusion sprays used on this tag over honeydew fresco paint.
I have wanted to use this verse for awhile and I love it, I wanted him to look a bit mad in the head lol

Right I'm off, I shall be back later with details and back in a minute with the other post :-)

Paperartsy - Book Cover

Hi all, just nipping on to show you what I have done for the Paperartsy Inspiration challenge, the designer this week is France Papillon and wow you so need to go over to the Paperartsy Blog and have a look at everything she has done this week, she really has inspired me.  The first day she did a book cover, I have took most of the ideas she did so please nip over there and be inspired.  I won't tell you exactly what I did as you can find it all over on the Paperartsy blog, but all the Paperartsy stamps and fresco paints you can find in the details at the end.

This saying is one of the first Paperartsy stamps I ever bought,
it is from Squiggly Ink Bricks and Mortar 2.
I bought it as it made me smile, I was new to stamping and
admired so many artists and thought to myself
maybe one day will I wake up and know
I have succeeded in becoming a good stamper.
Then a few months ago, yet again I looked at it and
I was teaching myself how to crochet and I thought
to myself, maybe one day I will wake up and feel like
I have succeeded crochet.  I have never ever
actually used the stamp.  Lately I feel (thanks to alot of designers who
have inspired me and helped me) that my stamping is going somewhere
and I feel that at last I can crochet (not brilliant lol).
It was time to use the stamp :-) on a book that hopefully will
become an idea and thoughts book on art and on my book cover
is a little crochet flower I have made, yep I admit I have used
a big brad (altered by me) but I only wanted a hint of it and
what is important is that I know it's there :-)

Close up.  I have a love hate with crackle, it doesn't
matter what I use I tend to get it wrong, I can't decide if I'm just too heavy
handed or too impatient lol.  I used South Pacific Fresco paint on some
calico and used the Fresco crackle.  Then *Wait for it* I left it all night,
I kept wanting to grab hold of it and use a heat gun but I know I would
ruin it lol.  Well it paid off, I added Vintage Lace over the top and
their is my lovely crackle, mind you I wish I had bigger ones lol.
Before I stamped the saying I used backgrounds 6 by Paperartsy on it using
an archival aquamarine ink pad, and then I attacked the edges lol.
The flower (crocheted by me *blushes*) had a brad added on top
that had been painted with Bora Bora (in love with this) and
the script stamped on from the little flower on HP1008.

The little tag was die cut from Tim Holtz sizzix, the texture on it
is from when I brayered  the crunchy paper it left an imprint on the
brayer so I went over the tag, then I added more smoked paprika paint and
brayered over sequin waste to get a bit more texture. Blood orange (love love love)
around the edges and the Secrets stamp is from ELB01.
Talking of that stamp set I am taking a class with Lin Brown on Saturday,
I'm so excited, I feel I have come so far compared to last years
Artsycrafts and I can't wait to learn more about layering and maybe start
loving the crackle lol.  I'm taking the Secret Garden class which I fell
in love with when I saw it last year.  It's really weird, I have only just last week
finished one of the projects from the Artsycrafts, I'm hoping to finish the other two
over the next few weeks.  Why wait a year?  I just felt like it was out of
my league and I wanted to practice to make sure I got it right :-)

Right I am off, I am so sorry for going on and on and on, but I am so loving everything I'm doing and playing in craft.  Shame it's accounting season and my work schedule is ridiculous for the next two weeks, but then it's all done lol and I will be able to spend more time crafting :-).  I have to admit though I'm already half way through doing another creation from Paperartsy this week, so inspiring :-)
ok ok ok I'm going, I shall stop the waffle lol.  Happy Crafting :-)  Hugs Kezzy xxx

Hands on Heart

Hi all, just popping on with my entry for the DragonsDream Tag It On and the challenge was Hand(s), vellum, brown!!!!  I know I completely hadn't got a clue what I was going to do but the best thing about this challenge is it's so fun fun fun, I just went with an idea I had and over the last few days it grew into the tag it is lol :-).  So the idea was if they wanted a hand I was going to use my hand!!!! yep lol at first I tried the gelli plate but it didn't take, but I did like the mix of browns and copper so I loaded the plate up, had a good squiggy with my hand and on the Kraft tag it went (I did one on manila but I didn't like it).  Then I added some distress stains and left it be.  Last night I had another play and started doing backgrounds in all sorts of different browns using a brilliance inkpads.  By this time I had sort of a plan.  I embossed the heart on vellum then on the back I used a ball tool and gently went in between all the swirls in the heart.  Then I distressed it and added UTEE clear around the edge.  I went back to the tag and started more heat embossing on the background and more stamping. And this afternoon I started doing all the add ons and yep this is my tag.
Quick reminder don't forget I have candy which is the first post you come to :-)

My theme was the playground saying
Hands on heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye
EEK how horrible lol but it meant you was saying the truth.
But to add a twist, I wanted it to be about ART as I have had
such fun, not caring about what I use (not DT work) just pure ME time.

Proof of hand print :-)

Right I better be off, need to enter before it runs out.  I have got a DT post that hasn't popped up on Sunday so think it's lurking in draft, I shall be back later or tomorrow with it :-)
Happy Crafting, Lots of hugs, Kezzy xxx

Paperartsy Inspiration

Hi all, eek I'm late again it's accounting season and been working this weekend lol, I actually started this last night and because of the miserable weather I chose bright colours which I wasn't sure worked.  I went to bed and this morning about an hour ago I was inspired to finish it lol.  Bet your wondering what I'm on about, over at Paperartsy Blog this weeks designer is Sue Carrington and wow her work has been so inspiring. For my mini canvas I have used stamp set ELB01 and words off JOFY 11.  The fresco paint I used was Zesty Zing, limelight, london bus, blood orange, vanilla and pesto.

As you can see I made a mistake with my mask top right flowers,
problem is it was a last minute add as the other flowers
were hidden behind the leaves, you can just about
make them out.  Should have left it, because of rushing I
made the mistake and haven't had time to repair it.  Oh well we live and learn lol

Right I shall be off to enter the challenge or I shall miss it lol.  Hope your Sunday is crafty and I shall be back later with a DT piece.  Oh and don't forget I have candy which you can find here.

WOYWW 205

Hi all, it's Wednesday which means it's time for WOYWW (What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday) were all us crafters show what's on your desks :-)  I can't believe I haven't posted since last week.  I had acupuncture last Friday and sometimes it knocks me out, I was completely out of it until Sunday all I did was sleep, not sure why it happens but it does help with the pain in my legs on and off over two weeks so it is worth it, only problem is I now can only have top ups every 6 weeks.  So anyway, the weather over the bank holiday was gorgeous and to be honest I just chilled with family while enjoying the sun.  I am now back to crafting so I have lots going on lol as you may see from my desks!!!!

A Magnolia card I need to post, some new stamps (there
is a shop near the hospital that I have my acupuncture and my
partner always treats me there after).  Oops the new stamps are
the Indigo Blu ones still in the packet the others are for trying on the
gelli plate which you can see I have started to play with :-)

My texture box on the plastic drawers, and lots
of yummy texture and paints on my desk with my just cleaned
gelli plate ready for more use tomorrow :-)

Right I shall be off,  if anybody would like to swap ATC's on the WOYWW anniversary please email me, I have been doing extra so I can swap :-).  Also please have a go at my yummy candy giveaway which is the first post on my blog for the next two weeks :-).  I shall be visiting tomorrow and over the week as I am off to bed as I am knicker knackered!!!! :-)
Happy Woyww :-)

WOYWW 204

Hi all, it's Wednesday which means it's time for What's on your Workdesk Wednesday where all us crafters share our desk.  Now shock, my desk is clear!!!!!!! I'm between projects and was hoping to have a play this evening, but I had an accounting meeting all day with my Personal assistant who came here for us to work on some bits that are behind which left me with a headache and back really aches so I and chilled in front of TV for a bit then did some reading.  This doesn't seem to have worked so I'm of to bed to play solitare on my phone in bed until I fall asleep :-)

Gelli plate out as that was what
I was going to play with this evening so shall
be playing tomorrow :-)

Trying to sort out some projects that I have sorted to either
get rid or complete them :-)

Not over exciting this week lol.  Why not pop on over and share your desk so everyone can have a good nosey at your stash!!!!! lol lol :-) :-)
Happy Woyww :-)

This Weeks Smiles

Hi all, over at Annie's (aka Wipso) blog she does a weekly linky post called This Weeks Smile, and she encourages us to enter something to make other's smile.  I haven't joined in yet as I felt that I hadn't got a recent picture then yesterday the following things made me smile and I'm hoping they will too :-)

This is the tree in our front garden, it should only bloom every few years,
but the last two years it has bloomed so we didn't think it would this year.
The we had a glorious day yesterday a real taster of spring
and it's almost like it bloomed over night :-)

To mark this special occasion when the icecream man
came around last night my daughter and I decided on
icecream.  I asked her to bring me the biggest one lol and this is
what I got!!! The photo is a bit blurry as my daughter
couldn't stop laughing as I took a picture of her
holding my icecream and also it was dripping all down her hands
which made her giggle more, to stop this I'm trying to lick it then take
a picture lol

I hope these picture of bought a smile to your face while remembering a fun moment or just enjoying the fact that spring has sprung :-)  I shall be back in a moment with woyww!!!
